West Point City 2017 Municipal Election
Notice is hereby given that the following offices are to be voted on in the West Point City2017 Municipal General Election:
- Mayor (4-year term)
- City Council Member (4-year term) – Two Seats Available
Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed in person with the
West Point City Recorder at 3200 W 300 N West Point City, Utah
between the hours of 8:00 am & 5:00 pm
(Excluding Saturday and Sunday)
The Candidate Filing Period BEGINS: June 1, 2017 and ENDS: June 7, 2017
The Primary Election, if needed, will be held August 15, 2017. The General Election will be held on November 7, 2017.
A person filing a declaration of candidacy for a municipal office must meet the requirements of UCA 20A-9-203 and include a $25 filing fee with their submittal.
Candidates are also subject to financial disclosure requirements identified in UCA 10-3-208.
